How to manage legal entities

A LegalEntity must be registered within our business registry in order to be a participant into the Peppol Network.

You can create a LegalEntity via API by specifing some basic information:

    "fiscal_id": "12345678901",
    "name": "foo bar's company"  

You will receive back a UUID that identifies the LegalEntity you created, along with some basic info.

    "fiscal_id": "12345678901",
    "name": "foo bar's company",

    "updated_at": "2026-01-01T10:00:00+00:00"

Once created, you can only change its name:

    "name": "bar foo's company"
