Receive documents in your ERP

Available on request

A-Cube configures this during onboarding. To request it, contact A-Cube.

A-Cube delivers received documents to your SFTP directories for every destination. Your ERP can download and import the files without implementing the destination's receiving API. Ask A-Cube to confirm the file format, directory and identifiers during onboarding.

To receive files:

  1. Request received-document delivery for your destination and environment. If you need your own import format, include a sample with test data for the custom conversion.
  2. Use the SFTP credentials and receiving directory A-Cube provides.
  3. Download and import the files into your ERP. Keep a record of the files you have imported so that repeated downloads do not create duplicate entries.

The following details apply to Italy:

  • Supplier invoices: one XML file per invoice received from a supplier.
  • SdI notifications: the original XML notifications for your customer invoices.

A-Cube configures a separate directory for each. Download the files through SFTP; they are not uploads and are not processed by Transfer.

Supplier invoices

A-Cube writes each supplier invoice to your directory as soon as it receives it. You receive the XML only, without a PDF, signature envelope, or index file.

ItemValue
ContentThe invoice XML. If the supplier signed it, the signature envelope is removed: you receive the XML, not the .p7m.
File nameThe name of the SdI file without the .p7m suffix, for example IT01234567890_kG37F.xml.
TimingWhen A-Cube receives the invoice from the SdI, not at a fixed hour.
DuplicatesIf the SdI delivers the same invoice twice, the file is written again with the same name.

SdI notifications

Notification file names identify the original invoice file and notification type:

<invoice file name>_<TYPE>_<NNN>.xml

For example IT01234567890_kG37F_RC_005.xml.

TypeNotification
RCDelivery receipt
MCFailed delivery
NSRejection
NEOutcome
DTExpiry of terms
ATTransmission attestation
  • NNN is the notification sequence number.
  • Notifications cover all customer invoices for the fiscal ID configured in your account, including invoices sent through the Italian invoicing API or imported from the tax drawer.
  • For uploaded XML, the base name is your file name. For CSV or other converted formats, it is the name A-Cube assigned to the transmitted XML.
  • To match a notification to your upload, use Invoice transfers or GET /invoice-transfers in the Italian invoicing API. Both include your file name and the SdI file name.
  • Notifications leave the Transfer document transmitted. Check the invoice for the SdI outcome.

Reading the files

Connect through SFTP with access to the destination associated with your fiscal ID. Both directories are inside your home directory.

  • Files are deleted after 90 days. Download any files you need before they expire.
  • Directories named supplier or ignored are excluded from processing. See Directories.

Other destinations

A-Cube delivers received documents to your SFTP directories for every destination, such as KSeF invoices in Poland and documents received on Peppol. The details on this page, such as SdI notifications and file names, apply to Italy.

Your own format

A-Cube can convert the documents you receive to your own format, so that your ERP imports them as they are. This is a Custom capability: contact A-Cube to have the conversion built for you.
